"The Cutting Room: How Filmakers Shape Their Story" Editing has been called "the final rewrite," when the various pieces of a movie are shaped into the story we see. Fawaz will discuss the filmmaker's art, using two very different versions of the same movie, Ridley Scott's Kingdom of Heaven. Register below! |
Fawaz completed his MFA in Film Production at the University of Southern California. His short film, To Rest in Peace, has played throughout the world, including Cannes, London, Dubai, New York and Los Angeles, garnering awards for writing, directing, editing, cinematography, music and best short film. |
